Regulation 6(2) is a procedure for obtaining permanent residency in Cyprus for non-EU citizens. To apply, you must make a qualifying investment, confirm the required income, prove the origin of funds, and comply with additional program requirements.

An investment of โฌ300,000 creates a basis for application, but does not guarantee approval. The authority checks not only the property or investment, but also income, source of funds, documents, and the compliance of the entire family with the program requirements.
The program allows for several investment routes. The choice depends on the applicant's goal: purchasing a residential property, commercial real estate, investing in a Cypriot business, or a regulated fund.
The ability to buy an apartment in Cyprus and the ability to use it for Regulation 6(2) are different matters.
A specific property, company, or fund must be vetted before the transaction. Not every investment of โฌ300,000 automatically qualifies for Regulation 6(2).
In addition to the investment, the applicant must confirm a set minimum annual income. The required amount increases depending on the family composition.

Investment PR does not require permanent residency on the island, but the status can be lost if continuously absent from Cyprus for two years.
To maintain status, you must visit Cyprus at least once during every two-year period.
